The only program in British Columbia to educate Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists, the School of Audiology and Speech Sciences (SASS) offers a strong theoretical foundation. The academic component is enhanced by externships: real-life experience in the field, where students learn and work alongside practitioners.
As a graduate department, the School offers two degrees:
- The Master of Science is the basis for certification as an Audiologist or Speech-Language Pathologist. Students may choose a Master of Science degree in Audiology or Speech-Language Pathology.
- The Doctor of Philosophy degree provides students with the credentials to specialize academically.
