The only program in British Columbia to educate audiologists and speech-language pathologists, the School of Audiology and Speech Sciences (SASS) offers a strong theoretical foundation. The academic component is enhanced by externships: real-life experience in the field, where students learn and work alongside practitioners.
As a graduate department, the School offers two degrees:
- The Master of Science is the basis for certification as an audiologist or speech-language pathologist. Students may choose a Master of Science degree in audiology or speech-language pathology.
- The Doctor of Philosophy degree provides students with the credentials to specialize academically.
