Welcome to the SASS Audiology Clinic!
We are pleased to announce the opening of our SASS Audiology in-house clinic! This clinic will run for 12 weeks, from January 18th to April 5th, 2025.
The Audiology Clinic will be led by first year audiology students, under the supervision of a Registered Audiologist Clinical Educator. The clinic will provide hearing assessments to adults 19 years of age and older. Anyone from the UBC and Metro Vancouver communities are eligible to book an appointment. Each assessment is 1.5 hours long and includes a discussion of the test results and recommendations. If your results indicate you are in need of a medical referral or further services, additional information will be provided to you.
The cost for an examination is $65.00 or at an Affordability Rate of $45.00 (seniors over 60 years; UBC students).
The clinic will run every Saturday, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, starting on January 18th, 2025 and concluding on April 5th, 2025. Please note: the clinic will be closed on February 15th and February 22nd, 2025.
The clinic is located on the 3rd floor of the Friedman Building, 2177 Wesbrook Mall. There are paid parking lots adjacent to and nearby the building. See our Contact Us – SASS Audiology Clinic page for more information.
The SASS Audiology Clinic will provide clinical readiness training for our first-year Audiology graduate students prior to the start of their first externship in May 2025. In turn, we are very excited to be providing these affordable hearing services to our UBC and Metro Vancouver communities.
