Phoebe Wong – Class of 2016

What sparked your interest in pursuing a career in audiology?

I majored in linguistics and Russian for my bachelor’s degree. These subjects were really fascinating, but I really enjoyed statistics and physics classes too. Audiology seemed like the perfect way to combine my passion for both the humanities and the sciences, and I would get to help people in the process.

What excites you the most about the coming year?

I am really excited just to learn, and to meet new people with similar interests.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I am not sure yet. Maybe doing clinical work, or perhaps doing a PhD.

If you had to choose between the following options, what would be your preference?

Bones or muscles? Bones.
Sweet or sour? Sweet.
PC or Mac? Mac.
Stay in or go out? Go out.
iPhone or iPod? iPod. I’m not fond of smartphones.
Dinosaurs or robots? Dinosaurs.
1960s or 1980s? 1980s
