The Belcourt Brosseau Metis Award is a monetary award given to Metis students from Alberta in undergraduate and some graduate programs to promote education in the Metis community. The grant is given based on involvement and contributions in and to the Metis community and on academic standing. Lareina Abbott was thrilled to be awarded $5000 to cover her tuition and fees and is the only Audiology student to have received the award to date.
