Laker is SLP student Lindy Bailey’s 11-year old golden retriever, though those who know him would argue he is half-dog and half-human. He is well known around Kenora, Ontario for his adorable chunky face, his love of treats, and his distaste for all mailmen.

Laker enjoys chasing deer, hunting for crayfish in the lake, and long walks on the beach.
Laker prefers his human’s couches to his dog bed, and especially loves wool blankets and fuzzy pillows.
Laker’s political views include advocating for his right to sleep all day, and the right to his favourite blueberry treats. He also strongly believes that he is the owner of his humans, and that no other dog shall receive any attention at all while he is present. He is very loved by everyone who meets him.
