Opportunity for SLP Graduates to Participate in Study

Are you a Speech-Language Pathology graduate in the class of 2022 or later?

The project, Developing the professional identity of Speech-Language Pathology students through Written Reflective Practice, is looking for participants to take part in a study on how SLP students learn their professional identity during our program, and specifically how reflective writing does or can support this aspect of professionalism. The study involves a 15-minute survey and an optional online 60-minute interview conducted by a research assistant.

This study is being conducted by Marcia Choi (Primary Investigator), an Assistant Professor of Teaching at the School of Audiology & Speech Sciences (SASS), Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia (UBC), along with co-investigator, Ariane Faria dos Santos, a PhD student from the UBC Faculty of Education.
