November 15th Webinar ft. Kate Davies, Dr. Tami Howe, and Dr. Jeff Small

In the month of November, the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia is hosting a series of webinars exploring the relationship between dementia and communication. Experts will share their knowledge and experience, offering education and insights to enhance the quality of life for people living with dementia and their caregivers.

On Wednesday, November 15, 2 p.m. PT, School of Audiology and Speech Sciences’ Kate Davies, Dr. Tami Howe, and Dr. Jeff Small will be presenting:

Speech language pathologists and communication care for people living with dementia

They will discuss how dementia can affect a person’s communication. They will explore the role of speech-language pathologists in dementia care and how they can support communication changes related to dementia. Avenues of accessing speech-language pathologists will also be provided.
