Haida cedar weaving class for Audiology and SLP students

Students from the School of Audiology and Speech Sciences invited Todd Giihlgiigaa DeVries, a Haida Weaver of cedar bark, to teach a cedar weaving class on campus last week. They made these beautiful cedar bracelets to present as part of a celebration on October 24 2018 marking the completion of AUDI 540, a class focusing on approaches to Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology for people of First Nations, Métis or Inuit heritage.
