Giving thanks for supporting the School’s educational mission!

The School of Audiology and Speech Sciences is very grateful for all the donations it has received over the last 50 years to support our educational mission!

For example, in May 2013, the Rotary Club of Vancouver gave a substantial donation to the School to establish the Rotary Club of Vancouver Clinical Speech Technology Teaching Laboratory, an innovative laboratory essential for training students in the latest methods of speech therapy as they develop their skills as speech-language pathologists.

A plaque recognizing their contribution can be found outside the teaching lab on the third floor of the Friedman Building. This photo was taken on 5th February, 2014, when the Rotary Club of Vancouver were invited to the School to thank them for their generous donation. Dr. Valter Ciocca, who was Director of the School from 2007 to 2017, is seen here expressing the School’s gratitude!
