Learning to provide better care for deaf and hard of hearing
On May 14th, at the Western Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (WIDHH), 16 students from across disciplines (including audiology and speech-language pathology) attended the first introductory workshop on providing better care for the deaf and hard of hearing.

The Nature of Things: SASS Research in the Spotlight
CBC-TV recently replayed an episode of ‘The Nature of Things’ in which our very own Dr. Tony Herdman and his PhD student Osamu Takai can be found demonstrating brain recordings to sound. The episode, entitled “Sonic Magic: The Wonder and Science of Sound” was originally aired in July 2016.
