Over the summer months we have had some major upgrades in our teaching spaces and student study areas. Our two main classrooms Rm 354 and 355 have had two new AV systems installed. These systems will improve the teaching and learning experience in a number of ways. The offer instructor’s the ability to demonstrate multiple forms of media to students at the same time, for example a Powerpoint presentation and video content. The state of the art laser projectors project offer high definition video and the AV system also provides Video conferencing functionality in the rooms which allows for audience participation through the use of floor microphones.

Our speech Language Pathology lab has expanded to include room 345 and has also had some upgrades.  The room has been fitted with an AV system and multiple monitors to allow for easier viewing during class demonstrations. The school has also had screens fitted in the student Break Out Rooms (Rm 3012, 313, 314, 315) and the in the Student Transcription room (323). All upgrades were completed with a single goal in mind, to improve the experience for both students and instructors.
