Aphasia on Stage Presents: A Tribute to Queen

June is Aphasia Awareness Month!

In light of that, “Aphasia on Stage” (a 9-week program attended by a subgroup of the Aphasia Mentors) would like to invite you all to attend a special showcase.

On June 20 at 2 PM, Aphasia on Stage is preparing to pay tribute to Queen, performing some of their greatest hits, and delving back into past press releases to get a sense of the what this band really meant to audiences gone by.

In addition to celebrating Queen, our mentors also aim to raise awareness about aphasia and its impact on their lives, sharing vignettes from their respective journeys.

This showcase should take approximately one hour, and will be an informal gathering in Room 354 of the SASS Friedman Building.

Please RSVP by emailing or phoning Eavan Sinden – esinden@audiospeech.ubc.ca or (604) 822 5216.
