This fall, the School of Audiology and Speech Sciences partnered with the Physical Therapy & Research Clinic (PTRC) to help us develop an exciting pilot project – the SASS Clinic. The two teams of PT and SLP students met on Monday, October 18, for their first ever Grand Rounds, where they discussed mutual clients. Each team shared clinical pearls to help the other health care profession improve the quality of their sessions with their clients. We are so grateful for the Physical Therapy students for sharing mobility and transfer strategies to help keep our clients safer in our speech sessions!
