Swallowing and Communication Assessment and Management of Patients Infected with SARS-CoV-2

Swallowing and communication assessment and management of patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 is evolving.  Three separate global research teams convened and on each, UBC School of Audiology and Speech Science’s Dr. Stacey Skoretz (Swallowing Innovations Lab) represented Canada. The teams’ collective aim was to support patients, clinicians and administration across the many healthcare settings where Speech-Language Pathology plays an integral role.
